This is a class for all those who love to break a sweat. Whether you're new to yoga or a regular practitioner it is suitable for everyone. What is Traditional Hot Yoga? Hot Yoga is a sequence of 26 Hatha Yoga postures + 2 breathing techniques practised for a complete body workout and cleanse. This style is what we call Bikram Yoga Why is it Hot yoga? When Bikram travelled overseas to spread his knowledge and love for Hatha Yoga he realised the temperatures weren't the same as in India. Which then did not allow the practise to be as beneficial for his students. He then started to heat up the rooms so the body could adapt to the temperatures. The heat created in the room allows the body and muscles to warm up allowing you to practice with ease. This yoga style is empowering and makes you feel strong. It is also meditative as you spend time in each posture. It gives you the time to explore your body and capabilities. You will be surprised at how your body moves. This session is suitable for all levels and anyone looking to advance their Yoga practice. The room may or may not be heated depending on the season and weather conditions. You are sure to break a sweat and feel energized when we are finished. What to bring? Yoga Mat (spares available) Water Towel Please arrive at least 15mins prior to start time to find a comfortable space for yourself.
